Nuevo denario legionario de Marco Antonio: Leg XXXIII

Abstract

We present a new variant of the well-known legionary series of Mark Antony, a denarius with legend of the reverse LEG XXXIII. Its discovery not only means the existence of a new legion, but also makes reconsider other variants of this currency, which from RRC are considered suspicious or false, as authentic. Possible explanation of the rarity of these variants.
