Critical balance of the UACh PID 2009-2025. Perspectives, scope and limitations

Received: October 14, 2018 Approved: December 5, 2018 In this work we make a critical, reflective and proactive balance on the Institutional Development Plan 2009-2025, of the Autonomous University of Chapingo, based on the diagnoses that gave it sustenance: agricultural, educational and institutional sector. Therefore, at first, we made a balance on the validity, lag and contradictions of the aforementioned diagnoses, to give way to the second moment in which we contrast with the substantive functions: teaching, research, service and dissemination of culture; without implying leaving aside the project and model of the UACh, arising from the needs of the rural sector and the training of responsible subjects, with critical judgment and high humanitarian value for proposing pertinent solutions to the Mexican agriculture. Finally, by way of closure we point out the strengthening of agricultural education of the UACh, liberating, critical, democratic, equitable, autonomous and relevant to rural Mexico today.
