Laryngeal hamartoma: A case report
Abstract
Hamartoma is a rare benign malformation of the larynx. Clinical and histopathological findings of the larynx is often confused with other benign masses. Forty-five-year-old male patient with long-standing intermittent hoarseness and dry cough was admitted. The boundaries are not clearly distinguished from the physical examination, the right ventricular band did not have signs outside the endolaryngeal lesion. Histopathological examination of the excised mass was evaluated as chondroid hamartoma. The purpose of presenting this case to draw attention to the larynx are rare benign masses.
