Abstract

Die fortschreitende Digitalisierung stellt eine Bedrohung für Kunstbibliotheken dar. Der Autor hebt das Thema des Reproduktionsrechts hervor, das diese Entwicklung noch bremst. Längerfristig muss sich die Bibliothek aber als Treffpunkt eines interessierten Fachpublikums etablieren. The rapid pace of digitisation poses a threat to art libraries. The author emphasises the issue of reproduction rights, which continues to slow the digitisation process. In the longer term, however, libraries must redefine themselves as a meeting place for interested specialists.
