Not a New Study of the Nature and the Image of Princely Power in Kievan Rus’
Abstract
The review describes the conceptual and content sides of the monograph of an American specialist in the history of Early Mediaeval Rus’. It shows the lack of topicality of the research as the text is a more or less literal repetition of the 1973 edition overlooking the conclusions made in the related specialized literature that has been published since that time.
