Evaluation of Effective factor on the Education Performance of Medical physics group

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Improving the quality of education is done based on a method or model at each university. One of the methods and indicators for assessing educational quality is internal evaluation and each university will be able to plan and develop its programs using its capabilities. METHODS: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, the evaluation committee was formed by faculty members of the Medical Physics Department. The number of faculty members involved in this study was four, and the number of students was 15. In this study, 41 criteria, 214 markers, and 493 scores were investigated. Data analysis was performed based on mean data. FINDINGS: Mission, goals, and organizational status was favorable with the total score of 105 and 84% of the desirability. Training program, curriculum and non-curriculum factors with a score of 34 and 78% of the desirability, faculty member with a score of 50 and 77% of the desirability, students with a score of 90 and 78% of the desirability, learning / teaching strategies with a score of 59 and 66% of the desirability, Educational facilities and equipment with a score of 70 and 79% of the desirability, thesis and sabbatical and seminars with a score of 45 and 66% of the desirability, were all Fairly favorable. The graduates with an overall score of 57 and 59% of the desirability were unfavorable. CONCLUSION: Among the eight factors studied in this descriptive, the status of graduate students was undesirable because most graduates did not continue their education and cut off their relationship after graduating from university.
