The diagnostic and treatment of perforative odontogenic maxillitis
Abstract
It is generally admitted that complications during treatment of chronic odontogenic maxillitis and recurrences of the disease are related to the abnormal architectonics of the nasal cavity and to the pathology of other paranasal sinuses. Radiographic imaging often fails to detect a pathological process especially in the nasal cavity, ethmoidal labyrinth and sphenoidal sinus. Bacteriology assay is the most informative technique for evaluating genesis and character of inflammatory process in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. It was found in most cases that both nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses are involved in pathological process. Therefore appropriate corrections of treatment plan are needed. For treatment was recommended the new form of fluqunolones – «Haileflox-750».
