Neuroimaging for New-Onset Afebrile Seizures
Abstract
The prevalence of clinically significant abnormal neuroimaging in children presenting in the emergency department (ED) with new-onset afebrile seizures (ASZ) was determined in a series of 500 consecutive cases seen over a 34-month period between October 1996 and July 1998 at the Children’s Hospital, Boston, MA.
