Diagnosis And Management Of Retained Host’s Descemet’s Membrane After Penetrating Keratoplasty
Abstract
Retained descemet's membrane is a rare complication of penetrating keratoplasty. It can lead to graft failure by compromising the endothelial tissue of the cornea. We report a case which was diagnosed as retained descemet's membrane post penetrating keratoplasty by anterior segment optical coherence tomogram and was managed surgically by descemetorhexis without compromising the graft integrity which led to good visual gain.
