The liberal socialism of Norberto Bobbio

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze Bobbio’s proposal to unite the positive aspects of liberalism and socialism in the project designated liberal socialism, which combines the two schools of western political thought with democracy, thus establishing three characteristics of citizenship within the same structure: civil liberties, political guarantee sand social rights.
