The paradigm constitutes the foundationof which the scientific community develop their research, of which work as basis for the subsequent development of scientificity. The systemic view comprises two systemic characteristics: totality and purpose. The first one establishes an overvi ew, that is, an organization needs to be seen as a system, not separately, and the purpose, shows that it is the role that makes the company, considering that every system has a goal and a purpose to reach. The organizational environment comprises several aspects of the conjecture, in which it is added reciprocally in different degrees, according to the organization modality, technology involved, politics, the formal goals, internal regulations; to sum up, structural and conjectural factor. The article itse lf enlightens the mapping of the organizational environment in an institution of higher education. The methodology combines quantitative and qualitative analysis through questionnaires. We conclude that mapping the organizational climate is of fundamental relevance for decision making in university management.
