The Colorado Field is a minor field located in the Yarima area of the Middle Magdalena Basin, near to Barrancabermeja – Santander. The field operation is in charge of the Industrial University of Santander, who generates research projects to strength academy and lets to develope techniques to improve reservoir characterization for a better prospection of it. Although previous studies had developed by other authors, the different models that had been made for the field to date, had not been integrated into a single and robust model. In this research, the reviewing and adjusting of existing models was performed. The logs were upscalled and statistical and anisotropy analyzes were performed (vertical facies proportion - variogram). Then, the geological 3D model was created for the B and C units of the Mugrosa Formation using the pixel based facies modeling technique and the Sequential Indicator Simulation algorithm “SIS”. The porosity model associated was created using the PHIR log and the Sequential Gaussian Simulation algorithm “SGS”. This integrated model was used to obtain a three-dimensional mesh properly upscalled, containing the structural model of the field which can represent in a best way the geobodies present in the study area and the porosity associated with them.
