O fim da metafísica segundo Habermas: ponderações à luz do pensamento heideggeriano
Abstract
In his work Post-Metaphysical Thinking, the philosopher Habermas announces the end of metaphysics as a totalizing and self-referential thinking, which intends to have a privileged access to truth. The devaluation of this kind of thinking culminates in the passage to what he calls post-metaphysical thinking, making a resizing of the role of philosophy necessary considering that a new scenario of thinking is being established. This article intends to problematize – in the light of the philosophy of Martin Heidegger – assumptions of Habermas, which justify his proposition of the end of metaphysics. In this sense, this article wants to show that the proposition of the contemporary empire of technique makes the announcement of the establishment of a post-metaphysical thinking something difficult to sustain.
