Social Representation of the Forced Displacement Phenomenon in the Colombian Press
Abstract
The article presents, from a critical analysis of discourse, the essential elements for the characterization of the phenomenon or forced displacement due to the social conflict in Colombia, through the revision and analysis of national newspapers with the largest distribution in the country during the year 2005. The article examines how this reality is configured and valued, based on the social representation of the actors and their actions.
