Gestalt-approach in the methodology of outreach social work

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the use of gestalt-approach as methodology and technology of the psychotherapeutic aid within the social work with homeless youth in Moscow. The author describes the consultation practice in outreach work, including such characteristics as the specifics of coming into contact, the safety of the contact, the time-line of the consultation process and others. Also the analysis of the limitation of psychotherapeutic aid within the outreach consultation is made and the resources of the gestalt-approach for the organizational structure of social work on the streets are included.
