A rare case of calcaneoplanovalgus foot deformity in a toddler with aggressive lipofibromatosis

Abstract

This report discusses a rare case of a left calcaneoplanovalgus foot deformity as a result of an aggressive lipofibromatosis of the foot and ankle in a toddler who underwent surgical excision as well as orthopedic corrective procedures. He has since regained normal gait and ambulatory function. In this review of the literature, we discuss the diagnosis and treatment of lipofibromatosis.
