Review of the genus Botyodes Guenée (Lepidoptera: Crambidae: Spilomelinae) from Laos, with three newly recorded species

Abstract

The genus Botyodes Guenée, 1854 (Lepidoptera, Crambidae, Spilomelinae) is reviewed from Laos, with three newly recorded species: Botyodes asialis Guenée, 1854, B. diniasalis (Walker, 1859), and B. principalis Leech, 1899. A key to the Laotian species of the genus Botyodes is presented. Illustrations of adults and genitalia are provided, with species redescriptions, host plants, and distribution record.
