Notas sobre a dominação social em António Gramsci e Pierre Bourdieu

Abstract

In this paper we seek to make a comparative analysis between Bourdieu and Gramsci, addressing from this possible Marxist senses of Bourdieusian production. We do not intend to exhaust all possibilities of analysis, but show some contrasts between the reflections of Gramsci and Bourdieu from two central concepts in his works: Hegemony and Violence Symbolic. From these concepts compared we will scrutinize their respective reflections on the question of domination in order to contribute to the vacuum around the comparative studies between these authors
