La fauna a micromammiferi del comprensorio di Muro Lucano (Potenza, Italia)

Abstract

<strong>Abstract</strong> <strong>Small mammal fauna of the Muro Lucano area (Potenza, Italy)</strong> - Data of small mammals trapped (255 specimens) and preyed by Barn owl (289 specimens) in NW Lucania (southern Italy) are reported. In the studied area, 7 species of Insectivora (<em>Erinaceus europaeus</em>, <em>Talpa romana</em>, <em>Sorex araneus</em> ve1 <em>samniticus</em>, <em>S. minutus</em>, <em>Suncus etruscus</em>, <em>Crocidura suaveolens</em>, <em>C. leucodon</em>) and 8 of Rodentia (<em>Muscardinus avellanarius</em>, <em>Myoxus glis</em>, <em>Clethrionomys glareolus</em>, <em>Microtus savii</em>, <em>Rattus rattus</em>, <em>Apodemus sylvaticus</em>, <em>A . flavicollis</em>, <em>Mus domesticus</em>) are recorded, together with ecological and biological remarks.
