The case report describes physiotherapy for a 46 years old male patient. He had visual neglect and became unaware of the left side of his body and environment after media stroke in the right brain. Although he could walk without walking stick and the fact that he had selective control over the hemiplegic side, his arm showed no movement during walking. After two weeks of traditional physiotherapy, little recovery had occurred. The physiotherapy treatment was reevaluated and changed to focus on oculomotor muscle exercises. Then some improvements were observed in just few days. Continuing eye muscle exercises on the effected side seemed to have reduced the neglect. He started using the left arm spontaneously and the cooperation between the right and the left side of the body began. It therefore seems interesting to assess the effect of oculomotor muscle exercise on the hemiplegic side function, since 60 percent of these patients have oculomotor disturbance.
