ABSTRACT A 65‐year‐old woman aspirated scallop‐containing rice porridge, presenting with dyspnea. Computed tomography revealed a foreign body in the right upper bronchus, which was removed using flexible bronchoscopy. Pathology suggested the foreign body to be scallop adductor muscle fibres. Scallop‐related airway foreign bodies are rare, and flexible bronchoscopy is effective.
