Abstract Diffuse pulmonary ossification (DPO) is a rare condition characterized by the formation of bone tissues in the lung. DPO is considered to be accompanied by chronic lung diseases, such as idiopathic interstitial pneumonitis or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, acute respiratory distress syndrome, or inhalation‐related lung diseases. Most reported cases of DPO were diagnosed during autopsies or surgical specimen. We report a case of DPO after kidney transplantation diagnosed by transbronchial lung biopsy.
