DEVELOPMENT OF INDUCTION SYSTEMS FOR HEATING DISKS
Abstract
The paper presents the experimental and numerical results obtained by the induction method heating the steel disk. Problem-oriented 3D models for the solution of coupled electromagnetic and thermal tasks were developed on base ANSYS APDL. Electromagnetic and thermal processes were investigated by heating the rotated disk-shaped workpiece. Further prospects of developed models connected with the research of different induction systems for the different shaped workpieces heating. Also developed methods and approaches could be applied for other electrotechnological processes, summarized of the offered solution for all steel rings, disks, gears, shafts, springs and other symmetrical workpieces, for designing induction installations and parametric search for designing induction installations, parametric search for optimal system configurations and for an analysis.
