இஸ்லாமியத் தமிழ் நாவல்களில் குடும்ப உறவு / Family Relationship in Islamic Tamil Novels
Abstract
Abstract In Tamil literary world, the novel is considered as a modern literary genre for over a century. This literature genre laid its mark on Tamil literature at the end of the nineteenth century and has taken a permanent place in the literary history of Tamil literature, absorbing various creations and efforts and creating new dimension. Tamil novel is composed of various elements. The novels capture society and its elements in general as well as specific situations. The uniqueness of novel is that it deals with the life of the individual and his relationship with society. A novel that exemplifies the real function of a man within society qualifies as a ‘social document’. The novels reflect social systems such as religion, politics, economy, family, and so on. The family is the basis of the social system. Infact, a community is made up of many families. Islamic families in Tamil Nadu also have such familial set up and social background. Hence, this article explores how familial relationships have been portrayed in Islamic Tamil novels. ஆய்வுச் சுருக்கம் தமிழ் இலக்கிய உலகில் ஒரு நூற்றாண்டையும் கடந்து வந்த ஒரு நவீன இலக்கிய வகையாக நாவல் கருதப்படுகிறது. கடந்த நூற்றாண்டில் உருவான நாவல் இலக்கியங்கள் இன்றளவும் சிறப்பான தன்மைப் பெற்று திகழ்வதையும், மேலும் பல்வேறு ஆக்கங்களையும், முயற்சிகளையும் உள்வாங்கிக் கொண்டு புதிய புதிய பரிமாணத்தை ஏற்படுத்திக் கொண்டே வருகின்றது. நாவல் இலக்கியங்கள் குடும்பம், அரசியல், பொருளாதாரம், நம்பிக்கைகள், பழக்கவழக்கங்கள், சமூகத்தில் ஏற்படும் பல நிகழ்வுகளைக் கதைக்கருவாகக் கொண்டு அமைகிறது. முதல்நிலை மாந்தராக ஒருவனைப் படைத்து அவனைச் சுற்றி சமூகத்தில் நடைபெறும் நிகழ்வுகள் பற்றிக் கூறுவதாக படைக்கப்படுகிறது. ஒரு சமூகத்தில் ஏற்படும் உண்மை நிகழ்வுகளை நம் கண்முன் எடுத்துக்காட்டும் ஒரு ஆவணமாக நாவல் திகழ்கிறது. சமூகத்தை மட்டுமல்லாது பல குடும்ப உறவுகளில் ஏற்படும் நன்மை தீமை போன்ற விளைவுகளையும் நாவலாசிரியர்கள் தங்களது நாவல்களில் சிறப்புற பதிவு செய்துள்ளனர். இஸ்லாமியத் தமிழ் நாவல் இலக்கியங்களில் குடும்ப உறவுகள் எவ்வாறு சித்தரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன என்பதைப் பற்றி இவண் ஆராயப்படுகிறது.
