COVID-19 pandemic: New evidence of legal reform needed for Ecuadorian children

Abstract

The pandemic caused by COVID-19 has highlighted certain situations such as the lack of a mandatory regime of communication between children and parents, which oblige the Ecuadorian legislator to urgently adopt the reform of certain laws as the Code of childhood and adolescence maintains about the "visitation regime" in order to avoid the collapse of the child justice system.
