This work presents the design of an interdisciplinary proposal for the creation of a rosacea. The objective is to put into practice the contents of the curriculum of the Final Years of Elementary School in mathematics, connecting them with architecture. The project-based learning methodology was carried out through STEAM activities (English acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.). The proposal is structured in nine phases and was applied to a sample of eight 14-year-oldstudents in a context of social inclusion. The results obtained show a lack of interest in the design of rosacea and the use of technology. However, the students actively participated in the construction phase in order to obtain a tangible product. In general, great difficulties were observed to implement the complete proposal, due to the structure of the Spanish educational system and the change in methodology required by this type of project on the part of teachers.
