This paper examines the legal frameworks that regulate sustainable entrepreneurship in the Arctic, with a focus on the environmental aspects under Russian Federation law. As the Arctic region faces increasing economic and environmental pressures, there is a critical need for robust legal mechanisms that support sustainable development while safeguarding ecological integrity. The study conducts a comprehensive analysis of both international agreements and national legislation, highlighting the complexities and challenges inherent in governing this geopolitically sensitive and ecologically significant area. Through a detailed examination of the Federal Law of Russian Federation on State Support for Entrepreneurship in the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation, and other pertinent legal texts, the research identifies gaps in the current legal framework. The findings underscore the urgent need for enhanced legal regulations that facilitate sustainable entrepreneurship, protect the environment, and align with international norms. The paper concludes with targeted recommendations for strengthening legal and regulatory structures to promote environmentally sustainable and economically viable development in the Arctic, contributing to the global discourse on environmental law and policy.
