The teaching-learning of the General University Chemistry with the use of professionalized teaching tasks
Abstract
In the world the interest to study Chemistry has decreased and that situation must be changed with educational innovations. In this context, the purpose of this paper was to develop some professionalized teaching tasks for use in the Teaching-Learning Process of General Chemistry in the Mechanical Engineering career. After having made a diagnosis to students of the University of Camagüey, it was decided to select the subject of the teaching task for constituting the basic cell of the process and professionalizing it to link the contents of Chemistry with the professional profiles of university careers. Orientations are proposed to teachers for the development and use of these tasks, they have been based on laws and teaching principles and sociohistorical cultural approach. Different tasks developed and used by the authors are shown as examples.
