Alkali metal diffusion processes were studied in the semiconductor film NaAuy under the sodium flux modulation conditions deposited on the surface with the following thermal desorption. It is shown that the sodium ion emission in the surface ionization process is determined by a combination of adsorption and diffusion exchanges of Na atoms between surface and volume of the NaAuy film, as well as by diffusion processes within the film.
