A midiatização como processo de reconhecimento, legitimidade e prática social (The mediatization as a process of recognition, legitimacy and social practice)
Abstract
Resumo: O presente artigo faz uma reflexão sobre o processo de midiatização na sociedade contemporânea, marcada pelo atravessamento de lógicas dos processos interacionais dos meios midiáticos. Destacamos a passagem da sociedade dos meios à sociedade midiatizada; os embates entre os campos sociais, marcados pela centralidade da mídia, cujas lógicas de funcionamento têm afetado outros campos, havendo um cruzamento de interesses, negociações, disputas e interrelações. Chamamos também atenção para as formas de relações e interações entre indivíduos e meios, destacando os processos realizados na constituição de vínculos estabelecidos no contexto da midiatização das práticas sociais.Abstract: The present article discusses the process of mediatization in contemporary society, which is marked by an intersection of the logical reasons behind the interaction processes of the media. The following aspects will be emphasized: the passage from a society based on means of communication to a mediatic society; the clashes between the social fi elds, marked by the centrality of the media, whose functioning methods have been affecting other fi elds, thus creating a concourse of interests, negotiations, disputes and interrelations. The sort of relations and interactions between the individuals and the media will also be stressed, with special attention to the processes related to the constitution of bonds established in the context of the mediatization of the social practices.
