This paper reviewed the nursing measures based on the idea of "heterozygous treatment" for a patient in the face-down position after vitrectomy. A comprehensive treatment with various methods, including psychological care, position management, complication prevention and Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing techniques, were carried out to improve the postoperative rehabilitation and quality of life of the patient.
