In this article we wonder about the relation between the construction of the History teacher ́s practices and the resources or didactic materials that they use in the classroom.In this sense, we seek to explorethe importance ofthe utilization of the most traditional didactic tools as the books of text and the written sources withthe incorporation of audio-visual material and the use of the portable computers in the creation of teaching practices. Thus, throughinvestigationsof the teachers’discourses, the aim isanalyze the classroom materiality and the criteria that guidethe selection of the resources that the teachers usein their everyday actions.
