In this study, the distribution of woody plant species richness according to environmental factors in the Kurucuova region was investigated. Firstly, field studies were conducted. Plant species and environmental variables were recorded. Then data entry and analysis was conducted in the office environment. The relationships between vegetation groups and alpha plant diversity were investigated. Then the relationship between environmental variables and plant species diversity components were examined by Spearman correlation analysis Then modeling studies were started. Modeling studies were done by regression tree technique. The data were collected from 70 sample plots. The obtained data and the diversity components were calculated. In total, 35 plant species were registered in the inventory. It was determined that Shannon-wiener index gives the most important result in alpha diversity components. As a result of the relationships between vegetation groups and alpha diversity, 3 different groups were obtained (A, B, C). It was determined that diversity was positive with A and C distinction groups and negative with B distinction group. As a result of the relationship between species diversity components and environmental variables, surface stoniness and altitude variables showed the most important relationship. Modeling results showed that the altitude and temperature index values give the most important results.
