Research on Ecological Water Requirement of Three Largest Rivers in Hainan Province Based on Hydrologic Method
Abstract
As the first ecological demonstration province in China, Hainan province follows the principle of "building an ecological province" routinely. In order to further promote the construction of ecological civilization and protect the river ecology in Hainan, it is of great theoretical significance to carry out the research on the ecological water requirement of the three largest rivers in Hainan province. Based on the long sequence data of monthly flow obtained by the seven main hydrologic stations of three largest rivers, this paper calculates the ecological flow by the methods of monthly minimum mean flow, 7Q10, monthly minimum ecological runoff computation and monthly frequency computation respectively. After analyzing, comparing, and testing by the Tennant method, it is showed that the result obtained by monthly minimum ecological runoff computation method and monthly frequency computation method meets the requirement of minimum ecological flow and appropriate ecological flow respectively. Thus, the minimum ecological water requirement and the appropriate ecological water requirement of the three largest rivers can be calculated, which can provide scientific basis for the optimal allocation and scheduling of water resources in the river basin.
