The emerging Fractal Quantum Gravity (FQG) theory has proved that the smallest constant — Space-Time Quantum of Action (STQA) — is the quanta of space-time-energy and the smallest building block of all physical systems. In this paper, by introducing the novel concept of the accompanying STQA of a particle, we are presenting an intrinsic explanation for the wave–particle duality phenomena. The accompanying STQA of a particle forms the field of the particle and leads to the interaction between particles, which offers the grand unification of the four-interaction forces, including electromagnetic, strong interaction forces, weak interaction forces and gravity forces. The brand-new concept of the accompanying STQA also explains the quantum entanglement phenomena observed between particles and sheds new light on how to make Quantum Computing a more practical application. A novel model of the Big Bang and Cosmic Evolution is developed based on the calculation of the parameters of the space-time background and the model beyond the current universe in view. Since the total number of STQAs contained in the universe remains constant before, at, and after the big bang, the new model has solved the singularity issue at the big bang and explains why the universe does not come from nothing in contrast to the traditional big bang theory.
