Se encontraron diferencias significativas (p Sixty blood samples from voluntary donors were studied. Plasma endothelial cells were measured in these samples the same day of blood extraction and this count was repeated after the preservation of plasma at 40 EC for 24 h. Significant differences were found (p < 0,001) between the number of counted cells in fresh plasma and that of the cold preserved plasma. Once the original sample is observed on the microscople, the cell suspension is preserved under similar conditions and only the count is repeated after 24 h. Similary, significant low values are found in the preserved samples (p < 0,05) therefore, this count must be made on the same day of blood extraction.
