Considerations about contemporary international migrations, with emphasis on their intensification, diversification, feminization of migratory flows, in a context of economic crisis, conflicts and intercultural tensions. Which poses questions and challenges at the scientific, social, educational level, gender relations and public policies. Based on theoretical and documentary contributions, current migrations are punctuated, their heterogeneity, in order to identify how feminization presents itself and intersects with other belongings such as social class, nationality, culture and migratory status. It is concluded that the condition of immigrant is not, in itself, held responsible for human rights violations. However, this condition, in circumstances that include gender, generation, ethnicity, class, sexual orientation, can contribute to gender-based violence that makes women frequent victims.
