Methods of Validation of the Paraclinic Diagnosis – Rx by Image Processing

Abstract

The radiological examination is part of complementary para-clinic examinations currently used in dental practice. This work present a method of improving the quality of X-ray dental images obtained through the classical techniques by specific image processing. The method consists of contours detection and bone density evaluation for interest areas. It is an easy approach for any type of retro-dental Rx investigation suggesting clinical decisions
