El postgrau de Prescripció Lectora de la Universitat de Barcelona
Abstract
L'article exposa la creació i el funcionament del postgrau de Prescripció Lectora organitzat per la Facultat de Biblioteconomia i Documentació de la Universitat de Barcelona i subvencionat pel Departament de Cultura i el Servei de Biblioteques de la Generalitat de Catalunya. La primera edició del curs es va fer l'any 2017 i actualment ja es duu a terme la tercera edició del postgrau (2019). El curs ofereix 50 places, 25 de les quals estan reservades al personal de biblioteques. Els continguts del curs es distribueixen en dos grans mòduls: d'una banda, un mòdul de caràcter teòric que té com a objectiu que l'alumnat conegui l'oferta editorial de tota mena de llibres i sàpiga què pot recomanar; d'altra banda, un mòdul més pràctic, en el qual es presenten activitats i estratègies per a facilitar la trobada entre els llibres i els lectors. This article describes the origins and operational structure of the University of Barcelona’s Postgraduate Degree in Recommended Reading, which is organised by the Faculty of Library and Information Science and funded by the Government of Catalonia’s Ministry of Culture and its Library Service. The degree, which was first run in 2017 and is now in its third edition, offers places for 50 students and reserves 25 of these places for library personnel. It comprises two main modules: a theoretical module in which students become familiar with the publishing sector and the different kinds of books on offer there; and a more practical module in which students learn about activities and strategies to help bring the reading public closer to books.
