PEDAGOGÍA CRÍTICA AFROAMERICANA. UNA EXPLORACIÓN SOBRE EL ENDORRACISMO EN EDUCACIÓN PRIMARIA
Abstract
El endorracismo es un acto segregacionista entre individuos de un mismo grupo étnico observado entre la población afro como conducta instituida. El propósito de este trabajo fue analizar los discursos ofensivos de cuarenta niños y niñas afrodescendientes en una institución oficial de Cali, Colombia, para encontrar la imagen que construyen estos niños de sí mismos y de los otros. Se revisan elementos de la pedagogía crítica, el endorracismo y los principios de racialización. La metodología de enfoque cualitativo, con diseño de investigación de campo aborda dos categorías generales: dimensión estética y la imagen propia. Luego, se caracterizan 20 discursos de insultos de estudiantes, y se sistematizan mediante el Atlas.ti. En el análisis se encontraron categorías emergentes en donde prevalecen el endorracismo y el distanciamiento. Se muestra que los referentes socializados sobre el negro son discriminatorios por lo que debe adoptarse el pensamiento pedagógico crítico afroamericano en beneficio del pluralismo social. The purpose of this work was to analyze the offensive speeches of forty Afro-descendant boys and girls in an official institution in Cali, Colombia, to find the image that these children build of themselves and of others. Elements of critical pedagogy, endoracism and the principles of racialization are reviewed. The qualitative approach methodology, with field research design, reviews two general categories: aesthetic dimension and self-image. Then, 20 insult speeches by students are characterized and systematized using Atlas.ti. In the analysis, emerging categories were found where endoracism and distancing prevail. It is shown that the socialized referents on the black are discriminatory, therefore the Afro-American critical pedagogical thought should be adopted in benefit of social pluralism.
