POLÍTICAS DEL NOMBRE (IM)PROPIO EN VIAJE AL CORAZÓN DEL DÍA. ELEGÍA POR UN SECRETO AMOR DE ARMONÍA SOMERS

Abstract

El presente artículo estudia la problematización que suscita el nombre propio en la configuración subjetiva e identitaria de los personajes construidos en la novela Viaje al corazón del día. Elegía por un secreto amor (1986) de la escritora uruguaya Armonía Somers (1914-1994). Lejos de ser una marca que permite la diferenciación y la individualización, el nombre propio de los personajes somersianos desestabiliza toda idea de unicidad subjetiva y borra los límites entre yo y otro hasta duplicar, desdoblar y confundir las fronteras entre identidad / mismidad / alteridad. This work addresses the problematization that the proper name arouses in the subjective and identitary configuration of the characters built in the novel Viaje al corazón del día. Elegía por un secreto amor (1986) by the uruguayan writer Armonía Somers (1914-1994). Far from being a mark of differentiation and individualization, the proper name of the somersian characters destabilizes any idea of subjective uniqueness and erase the limits between self and other to the extend of duplicating, unfolding and confusing the borders between identity / sameness / otherness.
