Intravesical foreign body: a case report
Abstract
The presence of intravesical foreign bodies is not a frequent emergency in the field of urology. Nonetheless, the references in the medical literature are very abundant and varied concerning its origin, nature and clinical form of presentation, as well as the reason for their appearance in the bladder. The intrauterine devices are among the causes, and they occupy the first place of the public reversible contraceptive method in world medical literature. The case of a patient with two intrauterine devices, and the form of dealing with this incident, is presented in this article. After being surgically intervened, the remission of the symptoms in the patient was total.
