The shots dilemma: COVID-19 related Vaccine hesitancy among general population in India- A cross sectional study

Abstract

Introduction The world has encountered significant morbidity and mortality due to frequent pandemics, including COVID-19, in the past two decades. Vaccination is one of the promising measures to combat them. Though vaccines were made available by the government, coverage was low and the reasons for hesitancy were not understood well. Hence a study was conducted to assess COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy proportion and the reasons for the same in general population.
