1943-1945 Linguocultural Situation Analysis (the Case of the Word “Wind”)
Abstract
The article is devoted to linguocultural situation of 1941-1945, which is the subject of a special research for the first time. The structure of linguocultural situation of this period treats “war” as a dominant linguocultural universal. This universal influences the built-in concepts in cultural and thematic field “Natural phenomena”, in particular. The article describes the features of the word “wind” verbalization in literary texts of 1943-1945. This lexical unit reflects a particular perception of natural phenomena in the linguocultural situation. The word “wind” and combinations with it form various linguocultural details in the structure of atypical concepts such as “victory”, “homeland”/”foreign land”, “death”/“life” and others.
