Abstract

The distribution of the population within a city is associated beyond proximity to economic activityscenarios to societal order elements, generated from the convergence of other factors shaping the dynamicsof it. For addressing regional situations, positions the need for new strategies or guidelines forthe development of territories proof is territorial cohesion, which aims to combat the imbalances thatsegregation. In this exercise, an analysis of the specificity of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia Caribbeancity, whose characteristics can analyze the phenomenon of segregation, since the features that coexistwithin the same.
