A Good Time for Research on School Efficiency in Latin America
Abstract
In 2001, five years ago, thirteen researchers from other countries of Latin America developed a "State of the Art" of Research on School Effectiveness in their respective countries (Murillo, 2003). Although this study showed the existence of a reasonable amount of good quality work on School Effectiveness developed in the Region, it also highlighted the great shortcomings that were occurring on the subject at that time
