Revisando las sucesiones de Sancho III de Pamplona y Fernando I de León. La teoría Muniadueña
Abstract
This study highlights a female intervention that has gone unnoticed or unappreciated, but which had a decisive influence on the territorial reconfiguration of the Spanish kingdoms in the 11th Century: that of Muniadueña (or doña Mayor), wife of Sancho III of Pamplona and mother of Ferdinand I of León and Castile, in the hereditary transmission of their respective kingdoms.
