MARKET OF NEW AND USED AGRICULTURAL TRACTORS IN POLANDIN THE YEARS 2012-2016

Abstract

The objective of the paper was to analyse of the changes on the market of new and used tractors in Poland. Initial datawere obtained from the resources of Polish Chamber of Commerce of Agricultural Machines and Facilities (PChCoAMF). In2012-2016 were registered 143 439 agricultural tractors, including 72 152 of new tractors. Level of purchase tractors in thereporting period decreased by about 7 thousand units, mainly, due to lower demand for new tractors. Demand reduction ontractors in the reporting period was resulted from the absence the European Union subsidies, and the unfavourable situationon the market of agricultural production.
