Computational investigation of double non-uniform magnetic field on heat transfer of nanofluid stream along 180-degree elbow pipe

The thermal efficiency of the nanofluid flow along the 180-elbow pipe is investigated under effects of double source of non-uniform magnetic field. To model the nanofluid stream with double magnetic sources, computational fluid dynamic is used. Effects of magnetic intensities and velocity of nanofluid on the hydrodynamic of the chosen model is also investigated in this research. The results of simulation indicate that the vortices are generated near the magnetic field and these vortices extend the thermal layer into the main stream and consequently, thermal efficiency of nanofluid stream is enhanced in 180-degree elbow. The results of various magnetic intensities also show that the increasing the magnetic intensities changes the location of maximum heat transfer from 1st magnetic source to 2nd one.
