Abstract
The study analyses the contributions of the Ion I. C. Brătianu, prime minister of the Romanian government in the years of the World War I to the Great Union of the Romanians in December 1918. He was the political leader, the statesman who made the strategical and the reformer decisions during the World War I and in the first decade in the interwar period.
